Hi, I’m April — the portrait photographer behind VIVID Photography Studio.

I’ve called Cold Spring home for more than 22 years, and in that time I’ve fallen in love with everything that makes this community special — the small-town charm, the familiar faces, and the peaceful rhythm of life along the river. My husband and I feel incredibly grateful to raise our family here, surrounded by quiet, beauty, and the kind of people who make this place feel like home.

We opened VIVID Photography Studio in 2015 with a simple goal: to offer beautiful, meaningful portraits without the need to travel to the city. Whether I’m photographing families, high school seniors, newborns, or professional headshots, my approach is always the same — warm, relaxed, and intentional. I want every session to feel effortless and every image to feel timeless.
